At Acction Advisors our mission is to bring “Accounting in Action” to life by delivering proactive, personalized solutions that help businesses and individuals thrive.
Our Story
Acction Advisors was founded by Kyle and Cameron, two best friends who met during their freshman year of college. After earning their undergraduate and Master’s degrees in accounting, Cameron and Kyle pursued separate paths in public accounting and entrepreneurship, gaining experience across industries, business models, and growth stages.
What started as a group project in an accounting class has led to Acction Advisors opening their doors in December 2024 with the acquisition of Runyan & Associates, P.C. in Bozeman, Montana and Christopher White, CPA in Oceanside, California.
Today, Acction Advisors is a boutique advisory firm serving businesses and individuals nationwide. Combining modern systems, strategic insight, and proactive guidance to help clients turn their numbers into confident decisions and measurable growth.

Kyle Shields, CPA – Co-Founder
With over 15 years of experience in finance leadership, Kyle has served as CFO for multiple high-growth companies. He’s helped founders navigate funding rounds, acquisitions, and rapid scaling — translating complex financial data into clear, actionable plans. With a wife and three daughters at home, Kyle proudly wears his “Girl Dad” badge as he shuttles his kids between dance and gymnastic practices.
Cameron Doe, CPA -Founder
Cameron brings over a decade of experience working with small businesses and pass-through entities. He focuses on practical tax planning and staying ahead of compliance issues, helping clients make smart decisions without unnecessary complexity. When he’s not at his desk, Cameron enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, playing pickleball and attending his kid’s sporting events.

Jen Matson, CPA
Jen brings over 30 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and is known for building long-term client relationships rooted in trust and steady guidance. Originally from Central Massachusetts, she relocated to Montana six years ago and now works remotely from Livingston, supporting clients with thoughtful, reliable accounting and tax expertise. Outside of work, Jen enjoys time with her family and animals, as well as horseback riding, e-biking, hiking, and taking advantage of Montana’s sunshine and wide-open spaces.
Amanda Gottsch
Amanda brings broad bookkeeping and accounting experience, supporting businesses from early-stage startups to established multi-million-dollar organizations across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. As a former business owner who founded, operated, and successfully sold two companies, she understands the realities owners face beyond the numbers and brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to every engagement. Known for her attention to detail and deep systems knowledge, Amanda excels at navigating complex or nonstandard situations with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, she’s active in animal rescue and fostering and enjoys time with her crew, music, hockey, and the outdoors.
Antonio Sorano
Antonio brings experience in both corporate and public accounting, with a strong foundation in finance and operational support. He works with clients to streamline processes, improve reporting, and approach tax strategy with clarity and precision. Known for his attention to detail and advanced Excel skills, Antonio enjoys building efficient systems that make complex financial information easier to understand and use. He is currently pursuing his CPA license.
